Breanne here and I don’t know about you but I am really vibing off the energies of tonight’s Full Moon and the upcoming Fall Equinox! Winds of change are upon us, it’s time to ground down. We welcome the “Harvest” Moon this evening as it rises into the sky shortly after the sun sets. The alignment of the sun and moon in nearly exact opposite proximity offers extended light to finish off the summer Harvest, according to the Farmers Almanac this is where it’s name originates. It is not only the alignment of the sun and moon but also which full moon lands closest to the fall equinox (sometimes it lands in October). This years Fall Equinox comes just two days after the full moon, on Wednesday the 22nd. Since these two cosmic events are so close together their energies will merge extending the pull of the full moon from Monday through the early morning hours of Wednesday and sets the pace for the first two weeks of the New season. I say we embrace this time of heightened emotional vibrations. Lean into it and feel all the feels as they come. Think deep waters, emotional exploration and increased sensitivity.
Time to tap into our intuition. It is after all a super power everyone posses and this full moon is sure to enhance it. Trust your basic instincts and press pause on the outside noise. There is only so much we can control and with everyone’s energy being exaggerated now is the time to protect your own. Introducing Black Tourmaline to your alter or meditations can aide in just that. Ground down into your rooted foundation and allow the raging waters to flow by, this is all a phase of clearing out negativity, shedding old belief systems and making room for a new enlightenment. Remember all that you have and all that you are is enough. A great ritual to practice is a gratitude journal. This is a Conscious way to realize everything you have is exactly what you need to find joy.
Alongside increased intuition can come vivid dreams, psychic perception or what I like to call downloads. Especially as the Vail between dimensions begins to thin and we count down the days to Old Hallows Eve. Keeping a dream journal to document any insightful ponderings or visions will assist in not only remembering but expounding on the messages that are coming through. Place peach moonstone at your bedside or incorporate it in to your meditation practice even wear as a beautiful piece of jewelry to ensure the dreams and messages come from pure intention and love.
This is a time to dedicate to our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. Take advantage of the healing energies of change that can be expedited during this time. Give some of your energy to that healing by resting, meditating, being in nature, eating whole foods, speaking kindly, setting supportive boundaries, and anything else that contributes to your healing. Keep Tigers Eye close at hand for the added support and strength through your healing journey. The choice of how we step forward into the strong emotions flowing through the universe is up to us. For with a high can also bring a low, where there is yin there is yang, the energy we hold onto is what we choose. I don't know about you but it sounds so much lighter to choose the higher route. In seeing the positive in the potential of change, the old emotional weight being shed to make room for what is sure to be new growth.
Take a pause, be still and sit with your intuition and inner dialog as you reflect on any feedback the universe has provided. The recent moon in Pisces can spur intense interactions and productive deep dives that can help you uncover hidden information. Just watch out for manipulative tactics used to push an extreme agenda. With all that said, this full moon and coming Equinox are mostly colored by lucky, optimistic vibes, and has the potential to leave you feeling more spiritually aware, centered, and intuitive.
So step outside and soak up the dwindling light and shift in the seasons.
My home is a sacred space full of beauty, inspiration and protection. I am courageous, steady and strong. Healthy boundaries keep me centered and balanced.
